Consensual Lifestyles Association
of South Australia

Minutes of Committee Meeting held on August 3rd, 2001, at 7.05pm

Present: Huntress, Debbie, Troy, Dragon, princess, Debbledee.

Apologies: Amanda, Michael, Snow.

1 Business Arising:
1.1 Membership
1.1.1 Still some current members have not filled in their application forms or paid their fees for the financial year that has just finished.
1.1.2 Fees: It was decided, that since we are currently financially in the black, and do not have any financial drains coming up for a while, that we drop the membership to $10 per year, for the time being, as more encouragement for as many people to join as possible.
1.1.3 A reminder needs to go out to everyone, to make them aware, that to nominate for a position on the Executive committee, or vote at the Annual General Meeting, they must be currently financial in the Association.
1.1.4 Committee: Debbledee was accepted onto the committee as an ordinary member, while princess will no longer be on the committee (in the future) so that she can concentrate on other aspects of her life (thanks go to princess for the time she has given until this point to the association committee).

1.2 Corporate Seal: Has been purchased at a cost of $22.75 and is currently in the possession of the Public Officer.

1.3 Annual General Meeting:
1.3.1 Time and location - Rather than the last Friday in August this year it has been set as Friday the 24th of August at 7pm (for a 7.30pm start), and is to be held upstairs at Fleet St Cafe.
1.3.2 Positions vacant - President and Public Officer, Michael has nominated for President and Huntress has renominated for Public Officer.
1.3.3 Agenda - Meeting is chaired by the Secretary until the new President is elected
1.3.3.1 President's report
1.3.3.2 Secretary's report
1.3.3.3 Treasurer's report
1.3.3.4
    Elections -
  • President
  • Public Officer
  • Ordinary committee members
1.3.3.5 Any other business that has been submitted within the required timeline.

2 New Business:
2.1 FEAST: Would like to have 3 or 4 bdsm workshops this year, one for men, one for anybody and possibly 2 for women only. Fae would like to be involved in the women's only workshop and it was suggested it be presented by her, Debbie and Huntress to make women of all sizes etc feel more at ease. For the men's workshop we need to find a male Dom who is comfortable working with gay men and it was suggested we ask both Leif and Snow if either of them would be interested in doing that one. Huntress will check with the Feast people about how long they want the workshops to be, as 2 hours seems a bit short, and it was felt 4 hours, with a small break in the middle, would be better. A suggested format was to have a general safety and basics talk, followed by a play demonstration and then a question and answer period with anything else that comes up and needs covering.
