| 2.1 | AGM does not have to be held in the first year, it just needs to be held after 18 months of starting the Association so we can hold off until next year and thus allow people to calm down and current issues to settle. An offer has been made by Leif, that he will act as a neutral administrator for a time until things do settle down, he would listen to all sides and appoint people to fill the various jobs as needed until such time as we all feel issues are sorted out and calm again. Currently people do not have much faith in us as a group and this will allow people to see that we are trying to do what is best for the majority and the organization, not the few. | |||
| 2.2 | We have done our best to sort out issues and hear all sides, this was the whole point of the extraordinary meeting and everyone was given their opportunity at that meeting. If we now delay the AGM we are just going to be seen as disorganized anyway and people will have less faith in us than they already do. We can not put the organization 'on hold' as we already have future plans in motion that we need to work on now and not delay further, which putting a 'caretaker' in place will do. Huntress has already accepted blame on the list for her announcement of Michael being President and indicating her error so our image is not really going to get any worse than it is now, and she is prepared to take all responsibility for all current hassles in the eyes of the public. Votes: Yes - 3, No -4, Abstain - 0 Result: Continue with AGM as planned at 7.30pm.
