Minutes of Committee Meeting held on February 5th, 2002, at 12.10pm

| 1 | Previous Minutes amendment: Apologies were also received from Dragon. | ||
| 2 | Outstanding memberships: Huntress drafted a letter to be sent to current members in arrears, which was approved, and Debbledee will post it as soon as possible. | ||
| 3 | Consensual: | ||
| 3.1 | Committee:Our intention to set up a committee to organise a convention and a bid for Consensual 2003, so that any and all interested in being a part of it may join, has been advertised in a couple of places so far. At this stage there has only been a couple of responses, neither of which were to do with our proposed bid or committee. Huntress will place further notices on other lists and locations. | ||
| 3.2 | Bid: Debbledee is still to look into how, when and where a bid must be submitted | ||
| 3.3 | Possible venues: | ||
| 3.3.1 | Snow put forward Woodside Army Barracks as a possible location. It is private, has some dormitory style accommodation, and an obstacle course which we might be able to make use of. As Greg has contacts through his association with the army reserves, Debbledee will ask him to approach the appropriate people on our behalf to find out more information about costs and availability. | ||
| 3.3.2 | Debbledee has also gathered information on a number of other camp style venues, and will post this information to the committee email list since she did not have it with her at the meeting.

| 4 | Meeting attendance: In the constitution it states: Any member who is absent for 3 or more consecutive meetings may be removed from the Executive Committee without further notification. It was suggested this rule may need to be enforced for those who continue to miss meetings and give no apology. Huntress will draft a letter reminding some members of this part of our constitution and a warning will also be posted to the committee email list to remind all members once more. If members still fail to attend meetings and/or tender any apologies we will cease their membership on the committee.
