Preaching to the Perverted - DVD. - Agreed to purchase. Look at getting both DVD's also copied to video format for those members who do not have DVD.

| 2.2 | General Fundraising: Wayne asked what funds do we now have, what are the funds for, and how much more do we wish to raise?: Current funds stand at $2000 from Consensual Qld in a term deposit, and approximately $300 apart from that. Of these funds, the $2000 is considered by those who have been part of past Consensual events, to be meant to be put towards a future event here in Adelaide (something the committee is considering for next year). So fare Consensual (An Australian BDSM convention) has been held in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra and most recently Queensland, and many consider it is now Adelaide's "turn". While we did win the bid for the Consensual funds, part of the reason we did this without contest was because other states (particularly Sydney who were going to put in a bid) knew we were bidding and felt Consensual should be held here next. The rest of the funds are generally seen as our petty cash and library money. If we are to hold Consensual here next year we will need substantial funds for - premises to hold the convention in, payment of people running workshops, catering, party costs, advertising in all states, etc. As far as funds for the library are concerned the more we have the more we can add to the library, and already some items in the library are showing signs of wear and tear so this will always be an ongoing cost. Mark suggested we have private parties and public functions as further means to raise funds. Look at a cost structure and whether or not to ask people to bring food or have it provided. Decided to look at possibly holding a function like a mild party in the Old Queen's Arms, so that new people get a chance to experience and see play. Possible dates to check with management are July 23, 24, 30, and 31, starting around 8 or 8.30pm. Suggested cost of entry being $15 for a single and $25 for a couple, with finger food provided. Debbledee will talk to Jethro the Manager at Queen's Arms and discuss options for dates, times, how long into the evening we can go, DJ availability and cost, food costs, etc.
