Minutes of Meeting held on January 12th, 2001, at 7pm

| 1.1 | Michael put forward his nomination to be a committee member which was accepted. | |||
| 2 | Business Arising: | |||
| 2.1 | Constitution model for our organisation - | |||
| 2.1.1 | A new preamble that combines our first version with the one put forward by Amanda was posted to the consensualsa email list by Huntress, and this new preamble was agreed to by all as the one we now wish to adopt. | |||
| 2.1.2 | All other proposed changes have been carried out.

| 2.2.1 | Dragon and a number of other committee members have now joined the new 'National' list and posted as suggested. Troy was briefly refused membership to the list but has since been allowed to subscribe so hopefully any issues are now settled. | |||
| 2.2.2 | Snow has not found the new local list yet so Huntress will directly subscribe him.

| 2.3 | Application form: Still not designed yet Huntress will try to get it ready by next meeting. | |||
| 2.4 | Workshops: Flyers and announcements for the first workshop have gone out and response so far is fairly promising although concerns were raised that the rope workshop has moved out of our control with members of the committee feeling they have no idea what is going on. Some people in the community have voiced concerns that they believe only couples can attend ruling them out as singles. Further concerns from committee members were also raised with regard to there now being announcements by totty and Steel with regard to the rope workshops being a series of 3 and totty's seeming misunderstanding that she and Steel will be running all further workshops. Dragon will address our concerns with totty and Steel and sort out any misunderstandings etc before the workshop on the 19th. It was decided that the two more advanced rope workshops Steel has planned, can be later ones or held by him on different nights other than our planned 'regular' workshop nights, if this makes it easier for all. | |||

| 3.1 | Workshops: Huntress and Amanda proposed that the next workshop in February be a 'basics' workshop for beginners now that we have peoples interest with the first one. Both are happy to run this workshop together and talk about what bdsm is, basic safety, submissives not being doormats or just sex toys (unless that is what they want), resources and information available etc. This was agreed to by all present and it was suggested we have future meetings just before further workshops so that any problems can be bought to light beforehand and we can make sure the workshops are prepared and ready in time. | |||
| 3.2 | Now that the constitution seems to be finalised Huntress will look into filing for registration. | |||
