| 1 | Business Arising: | |||
| 1.1 | Constitution model for our organisation - Now finalised and ready to go in with registration. | |||
| 1.2 | Email lists: At least one member of each household has been subscribed to the local list. | |||
| 1.3 | Application form: Huntress forgot to bring the final version and will bring it to the next meeting.
| |||
| 1.4 | Workshops: | |||
| 1.4.1 | Dragon took our proposal to The Control Room and they would like to know what constraints they would be under and what we can offer them. It was suggested we put our negotiations with The Control Room on hold for the present, since we may now have to find a new premises for workshops to be held in anyway. | |||
| 1.4.2 | Huntress suggested we look at trying to hold a workshop on a Saturday afternoon to see if that is better for those unable to come to Friday evening events. Look at this for the flogging workshop, and hold it possibly the next Saturday afternoon after Easter this would make it the 21st of April. Workshop still to cost $5 (unless costs have to change if location altered) and run from 3 to 6pm with Leif and Huntress being the presenters.
| |||
| 1.5 | Registration: Since the association currently has a balance of $35 we could now submit the registration papers if each member pays $10 for this financial year membership. To this end it is asked that each member bring their $10 along to the next meeting. | |||
| 1.6 | Huntress to look into other paperwork for our association. Stamp duty exemption will not be relevant until we have a Bank/Credit Union account which we do not need at this point in time. Need to look into registration as a charitable body and for licensing for raffles, etc. Many items have to wait until we are a registered body.
| |||
| 2 | New Business: | |||
| 2.1 | Censorship: Huntress pointed out that new bills are being introduced to ban many adult content sites on the internet, with our local SA government due to vote on one this week. It was suggested we as an Association write a letter concerning this and voicing our opposition to it. Dragon and Huntress to work on this with Huntress to email the relevant information about the proposed bill to the email list. | |||
